Mercury International has launched a nationwide promotion offering customers the chance to win a newly built house valued at $81,000, in what the company describes as one of its most ambitious campaigns to date.
The promotion was officially unveiled on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at an event held in Aberdeen, Freetown, bringing together company officials, brand representatives, and customers.
Speaking at the launch, the company’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Martin Michael, said the initiative reflects Mercury International’s long-standing presence in Sierra Leone and its commitment to creating opportunities for customers.
He noted that the company’s online platform continues to provide what he described as avenues for individuals to improve their livelihoods, adding that the promotion is designed to reward customer participation.
According to the company, the house-located in John Obey in the western area of Freetown-will be awarded through a raffle draw. The promotion runs from April 1 to July 20, 2026, with the draw scheduled between July 21 and 23, coinciding with the final stages of the FIFA World Cup. The winner is expected to receive the prize on August 3, 2026.
Brand Ambassador Drizilik, whose real name is Benjamin Manelik George, encouraged customers to take part, describing the promotion as an opportunity to turn gaming activity into tangible rewards.
Participants will receive one raffle ticket for every SLL 250 accumulated wager on Vegas games and one ticket for every SLL 50 wagered on sports betting. There is no limit to the number of tickets a participant can earn, with entries tied to activity conducted on the company’s online platform.
The campaign comes as betting companies in Sierra Leone continue to expand digital engagement strategies, offering incentives aimed at attracting and retaining customers in a competitive market.
