Hassan Sesay alias PHS of 3 Wanda Lane in Magburaka town, Tonkolili District is urgently calling on the public to intervene after he was diagnosed with an ailment that needed a major operation.

Sesay, a teacher at the Benevolent Islamic Secondary School in Magburaka, said he has been in pain as a result of the said sickness for the past ten months.

“I have been struggling with my health for about 10 months now and I have done a series of tests,” the 33-year-old sick teacher cried.

Sesay disclosed there has been no improvement even after he has tried several medications.

According to the results from different tests, he revealed the doctors told him he’s been diagnosed with Achalasia Cardiac (narrow of the esophagus).

“When I eat food be it liquid or solid the doctors said the food does not go down to the stomach. I have visited several hospitals but no improvement,” Sesay stated.

Doctors, the poor teacher indicated, advised that he needs to undergo a major operation overseas. But his current economic situation can not allow him to raise the funds for either the operation or the money to travel out of Sierra Leone, and his family again, is not financially stable.

“I’m calling on humanitarians to come to my aid so I won’t die,” Hassan Sesay lamented, adding: “Presently, I only survive on IV drips, no food, no water. “I’m seriously in pain as I’m talking to you. Please, I want you all to help me,”
