Sierra Leoneans, especially residents of the Northern city of Makeni and music lovers were shocked by the news of the death of one of the country’s legendary musicians- FSK The Moving Train – who was reported dead on the night of Monday 20th November, 2023.
Born Francis Sisquo Kabia, FSK was among the musicians who made Sierra Leoneans, particularly residents of Makeni fell in love with music.
Cause of death is still unknown to the public. But few days ago colleague entertainers were advocating for FSK to be flown out of Sierra Leone after the superstar was diagnosed with an ailment that needed urgent medical attention.
Surprisingly, the news that FSK passed away and he’s no more went viral this morning on social media.
The legend could be remembered as one of the singers who entertained Makeni and the country all over. FSK’s collaboration with Alieu Melody could be remembered as one of the best in the history of entertainment in the city of Makeni and the country at large, as the young musicians proved to the world that music is indeed a profession that can change the narrative.
Several lovers of music, fans, and colleagues have been sending messages of condolence to the family.
It’s still unclear when and where FSK will be buried.
