On Monday, 22nd July,2024, was exceptional as Mercury International put smiles on the faces of many in Freetown and other parts of the country.
Valuable items including Samsung smart phones, laptops, plasma TVs, and a motorcycle as the top prize were taken away by lucky winners of the Mercury Online Euro Raffle games.
Managing Director of Mercury International, Mr. Martin Edmond Michael, was humble to recognize the challenges of the torrential rains in Freetown and the consequences that come with them, and has therefore sympathized with the public during these difficult times.
He said that Mercury International cares and will continue to focus on the issue and is dedicated to supporting the public through their promos and corporate social responsibility roles.
Mr. Martin Edmond Michael assured the public that more winnings would be honored and presented to those who deserve them by playing Mercury and winning.
Martin further stated that the company has lined up a series of promotions to be unveiled in the coming days of the week onto the end of July and early August.
Public Relations Manager, Alhaji Komba ushered the lucky winners on stage to collect their prizes.
Winner of the top prize, Abu Koroma, appeared speechless when he was handed over a brand-new motorcycle by the Managing Director of Mercury International. Abu Koroma, after receiving the grand prize, said that “Mercury International is for the Poor Man… Let’s play it.”
He used the occasion to call on everyone to play Mercury responsibly and assured that the company was credible enough to honor winnings, unlike others in the country.
In an interview with newsmen, Abu warned the public that it must be careful investing their interests and pennies in other companies as they do not guarantee them safe wins but with Mercury. He confirmed that the company can guarantee a “safe bet, assured winning, responsible and timely payment.”

Mr. Koroma said Mercury International is the best betting company in Sierra Leone and expressed satisfaction with the company’s commitment to alleviating the social, economic, and financial constraints of ordinary people suffering due to lack of jobs, business, or money in the pocket to buy or sell or eat.
With Mercury, the journalist added that the poor are guaranteed survival. He appealed to the company to teach the media how to play their games and not just promote each other.
He expressed appreciation to Mercury International for the level of awareness they have created so far among ordinary people, including market women to play the games. He also spoke about its economic impact on them as they continue to win fabulous prizes in millions of leones.
