Mohamed Mansaray, a petty trader, has won an impressive Nle 390,000 (Three hundred and ninety Thousand Leones) from the Mercury International lottery draw (Lotto). This surprise winning has come as a shock to the youthful Mansaray who was left in disbelief even when receiving his prize.
The Freetown based business-man played the Lotto Draw Early Eye 111 on Monday, September 30,2024, after he placed the sum of Nle 20 on Nap 4+ product; playing the following numbers 17,59 33 with the winning numbers, (30 80,86,33,17,59, E60,16).
The lucky Mansaray was able to win the total sum of Nle300,000 (Three Hundred Thousand Leones.
The additional winning came from the Daily Product One has the chance to win when your chosen balls (numbers) fall within the first or last five balls, in which he secured Nle90,000 (Ninety Thousand Leones)
Reacting to his success before receiving his winning cheque, Mansaray revealed that he has been a constant player of Mercury International Sports Betting products since 2007 when they started proper operation.
He said: “I feel relief to win such an amount and I was never expecting this, however, I know Mercury International games are always real which has been my source of courage to keep on playing, and today, this has become a reality.”
“I have never physically held such a huge amount of money in my life, this is the biggest win and I have so many plans to do with it including investing,” Mansaray explained and confessed that he was never expecting or believed this day would come, especially when he saw the result.
This is the biggest Lottery win and according to the Lottery Department Manager, Noel Horton, he encouraged others to see the need to keep on playing and let their dreams become a reality.
A few months back, Sorie, a businessman who often travels to the provinces to buy goods, also won a six-figure amount after he participated in the “Daru Draw,” placing a Nle 50 bet on the daily draw with the numbers 27, 28, 81, 49, and 52. This bet alone brought him a big win of Nle 127,658 (One hundred and twenty-seven thousand six hundred and fifty-eight Leones).
With more trust and confidence in the product, he placed an additional Nle 20 bet on the same numbers for the super draw, securing an extra Nle 85,153 (Eighty-five thousand one hundred and fifty-three Leones). Altogether, Sorie’s total winnings came to an astounding Nle 212,810.
