Bhavesh Rathod, the General Manager of Kenya Airways Sierra Leone, has confirmed that flights to Sierra Leone will resume tomorrow 16th September 2020.
They will, however, be available on 20th September 2020, he added.
Rathod’s confirmation came after the Daily Nation Newspaper in Kenya reported that the airline will resume commercial passenger flights to Ghana and Sierra Leone on 16th September and Liberia on 17th September.
The paper furthered that Kenya Airways will fly four times a week to Accra and twice a week to Freetown and Monrovia.
Meanwhile, Kenya Airways had earlier commenced operations on its Nairobi-Dakar (Senegal) route and international passenger service on 1st August with flights to Britain and Ethiopia while domestic service restarted on 15th July after the service was suspended in March to contain the spread of COVID-19.
