Infinitum Energy Group engages President Bio on $189m electricity project

The CEO of Infinitum Energy Lindsay Nagle has held a strategic meeting with President Julius Maada Bio and his delegation during his recent visit to New York.

The company had the privilege of discussing their groundbreaking $189 million Waste-to-Energy (30 megawatts of electricity) project to Dr. Kandeh Kolleh Yumkella – the newly appointed Chairman of the Special Initiative for Climate Change, Renewable Energy, and Food Security.Other esteemed guests at the strategic presentation included:

Hon. Jiwoh Abdulai – Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Hon. Sheku Ahmed Fantamadi Bangura – Minister of Finance, and Mr. Mathew Dingie – Financial Secretary, Ministry of Finance.

Infinitum facility directly addresses 4 of the Government’s Big 5 Game Changers: Human Capital Development, Youth Employment, Revamping Public Services, and Tech and Infrastructure. The company said they are excited to serve as a partner for these critical initiatives. They added that it is a significant step towards a brighter, cleaner future for Sierra Leone.

Infinitum’s visionary project is set to address two critical challenges faced by Freetown: energy scarcity and waste management. Through cutting-edge technology and sustainable practices, the company said they are committed to providing Sierra Leone with energy independence while cleaning up stage West African country.
